Need Professional: Instructional Designers for writing Story Board

With a view to enhance the capability of practicing teachers in school for effective implementation of secondary stage school curriculum, Central Institute of Educational Technology (CIET) of NCERT plans to develop Learning Objects in major areas of learning – Science, Mathematics and Geography.

In operational terms, a Learning Object (LO) is a small piece of learning resource, which is digital, prepared by using graphics, animation, voice, text, photographs etc.  These Learning Objects are generally developed on hard spots of learning, which enable the classroom teacher and the student to understand the concept easily and effectively.

The CIET wishes to prepare a panel of Instructional Designers for writing of Story Board on identified content areas/subjects/theme. School teachers or university teachers or freelancers having experience of writing storyboards for 3-5 years, who is ready to develop storyboards for the Learning Objects, may mail their bio-data latest by December 17, 2009.  The duration of each Learning Object is about 7-10 minutes.

The storyboard writers will be paid a remuneration of Rs. 2,000 per Learning Object (LO).
